Starting in grade 4 OJCS recommends all students bring their own device to use in class. In line with our North Star “We own our own learning” , this is so students can personalize the tools that work best for them, organize and keep track of their work at school and at home, and better develop Now Literacies.
On May 19th, 2020 OJCS hosted a [virtual] parent’s night for all grade 3 parents to discuss OJCS’s “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD) program. Here is the video from that night, along with the chat transcript available to view:
